Numerology Calculations

It is important to understand that while humans have the potential to achieve great things, a lack of awareness about the properties of different numbers can lead to setbacks. Numbers (ranging from 1 to 9) possess three types of properties: individual, personal, and divisible states. If we analyze these numbers temperamentally, you might have noticed that some numbers bring good fortune to certain individuals, while the same numbers bring misfortune to others. Research has shown that fortunate events tend to occur on days associated with lucky numbers, while unfortunate events take place on days linked to unlucky numbers.

Thus, studying the influence of lucky and unlucky numbers is crucial. By understanding these numbers, we can make better philosophical and practical decisions in business and daily life.

Numbers are closely linked to events, accidents, and personal activities such as business, residence, and lifestyle choices. Hence, knowledge of numerology is essential for everyone.

I do not intend to complicate the subject; instead, I aim to explain it in a simple and understandable way. First, let’s understand the fundamental principles of this science—particularly the relationship between numbers and letters.

Many authors have provided different versions of the alphabet system, but the most authentic and widely used system in our language is the Abjad Qamari (Lunar Abjad). This system is used to calculate the numerical value of names.

Below is the Abjad Qamari chart:

Letters Number
ا ی ق غ 1
ب پ ک گ ر ڑ 2
چ ج ل ش 3
د ڈ م ت ٹ 4
ہ ن ث 5
و س خ 6
ز ژ ع ذ 7
ح ف ض 8
ط ص ظ 9

This system helps in determining the numerical values of names and is widely regarded as a credible method in numerology.

We have already provided an example of the Abjad Qamari system, which is commonly used for Arabic letters.

For the English alphabet, we will use Pythagoras’ numerology chart. Pay close attention to the example below to understand how it works.

Here is the Pythagorean numerology chart for English letters:

Letters Number
A, J, S 1
B, K, T 2
C, L, U 3
D, M, V 4
E, N, W 5
F, O, X 6
G, P, Y 7
H, Q, Z 8
I, R 9

This system assigns numerical values to English letters, allowing us to calculate the numerological value of a name just like we did with the Abjad Qamari system for Arabic and Urdu.

Suppose your date of birth is 25-11-1988.

To find its single-digit number, add all the digits together:

2 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 35

Since we always reduce to a single digit, add 3 + 5:

3 + 5 = 8

So, the single-digit number for this birth date is 8.

This number represents the core essence of your birth date and influences various aspects of your life.

Your Personality and the Influence of Numbers

Various types of numbers influence your life. Below is a breakdown of their significance:

1. Name Number

Your real name is the one that appears on all your official documents and educational certificates from birth. The numerical value of this name is called the Name Number. However, this number may change under certain circumstances.

2. Birth Date Number

The single-digit number derived from your date of birth is called the Birth Number or Destiny Number. This number plays a key role in shaping your life.

3. Nickname Number

Some people have multiple names—one is their official name, and another is their nickname (a name used by family and friends).
For example, if someone’s real name is something, but people lovingly call him Shah Jee, then the nickname also influences his life. The numerical value of this name is called the Nickname Number.

Note: Sometimes a nickname becomes a business or brand name too.

4. Combined Number

When you add together your Birth Number and Name Number, the resulting number is known as the Combined Number.

5. Financial Number

When you add together the Name Number and Nickname Number, the resulting number is known as the Financial or Business Number.
If this number is compatible with the number associated with a person’s business, they are likely to be successful. If not, they may face challenges in their career.

6. Lucky Number

Many people wish to discover their Lucky Number.
If a person’s Name Number and Birth Number are the same, then that number is considered their Lucky Number.
If they do not match, a numerology expert can help align them for better fortune.

7. Spiritual Number

The first letter of a person’s name holds a special spiritual significance.
This number is also considered important when analyzing relationships between two individuals.
